Lets Talk
We’d love to hear from you. Whether you're a rabbi, exec, educator, or funder — let's explore how NaviMetrics can support your community.
Meet the Team
At the heart of this work is Rabbi Jonah Geffen—an educator, strategist, and consultant who has spent his career working across the Jewish communal world. From synagogues and Hillels to international programs like Kivunim, where he once managed the well-being of 34 college-aged travelers (and their concerned parents) from a few time zones away, Jonah brings big-picture thinking and deep presence to every project. He’s led communities through major transitions, overseen accredited educational programs, mentored future Jewish leaders, and helped organizations clean up messy data systems and find meaning in the numbers. Whether guiding a synagogue through a real estate deal, teaching Jewish law and well-being at JTS, or advising nonprofits on strategy and structure, Jonah brings a rare blend of empathy, systems thinking, and curiosity. He holds rabbinic ordination and a Master’s from JTS, an M.Sc. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University, and a B.A. from Indiana University. He’s also a Ruskay Fellow, Jewish Wisdom Fellow, and was once featured in a book on healing despite never having written one himself.Jonah lives in New York with his family, a few too many open browser tabs, and the deep belief that people, like systems, are at their best when they’re supported, seen, and taken seriously—but not too seriously.
